Why Make?

 We are very excited to announce that we now have a fiscal sponsor in Fractured Atlas. Now what is a fiscal sponsor, it is an organization that allows donors gifts to be tax deductible as well as not requiring Why Make? to pay taxes on your generous contributions. It also allows Why Make? to seek grants and loans that are only available to non-profit organizations as well as not needing to pay income taxes on other types of grants that would be considered income. So in a nutshell our fiscal sponsorship by Fractured Atlas allows us to operate as a non-profit.

What Why Make? has accomplished in the last four years can be seen by taking a tour through our website. Some of the highlights being, producing almost 50 conversations with artists of all stripes about what inspires them to make, producing our first short documentary film on the ground breaking artist Tommy Simpson and getting it into at last count three film festivals. As well as working on our first visual podcast for our Youtube channel on the artist Wendy Maruyama to come out in late December 2022.

Donations can be made as a single donation of any amount or monthly donations in any amount.

All donations go towards The cost of producing a podcast and related projects - including subscriptions to our recording and website platforms, recording equipment and more.

You can also continue to donate on our Patreon page if you feel more comfortable with that platform, but we must pay taxes on all donations made through Patreon
